Recently, the Hog Roast Bolton team were hired by a local client to celebrate Emily’s Birthday Party at a private home in Bolton. The food was to be served as a buffet and all of the food was crafted using fantastically fresh ingredients. In addition, the Hog Roast Bolton team arrived well before the serve time in order to prepare and cook all of the food on site to ensure that it was all served to the buffet table fresh and piping hot.
The client selected the Southern Slow Roast menu for the Hog Roast Bolton team to serve to their guests. This menu featured a great range of the amazing flavours of North America’s hot south which the client’s guests thoroughly enjoyed. The menu included a fantastic selection of tender meats including BBQ pork butt, Texan 24 hour beef brisket and Cajun spiced whole roast chickens. Alongside this, a stunning vegetarian option of lightly grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers was served as a meat alternative. In addition to the mains, a selection of sides were served including Memphis style crunchy coleslaw, corn cobettes, Cajun spiced sweet potato wedges and skin-on southern style whole baked potatoes which complimented the meats really well. To add a bit of spice to the popular menu, the Hog Roast Bolton team also provided their very own selection of hot sauces including Jack Daniels smokey sweet BBQ glaze and Cajun hot pepper sauce which is usually spicy enough to knock their clients off their feet.
The buffet was served on disposable crockery which was cleared away discreetly by the Hog Roast Bolton team and taken away to dispose of so that the packing up is no hassle to the client. The buffet was served from 4 pm on wards so it was important that there was enough food to go around and it replaced the guests’ evening meals. In addition, the Hog Roast Bolton team’s Catering Manager, Dave, did a fantastic job of overseeing the service and ensuring that everything ran smoothly. His team delivered a really friendly service which the client was overjoyed with.
