We served a hearty hog roast in Manchester as a filling end to a November 5th wedding celebration at the Christian Fellowship in Daisy Bank Road.
As the last song of celebration played, over 100 guests came outdoors to enjoy the buffet and we served roast hog sandwiches with stuffing, apple sauce and our specialty crackling. The happy couple had chosen accompanying salads which we prepared on site, including tomato and mozzarella, coleslaw and piping hot potato wedges. The vegetarian guests didn’t miss out either as we served pitta pockets stuffed with Mediterranean roasted vegetables, with a mint and yoghurt dip.
The meal ended with a splendid fireworks display and Dave and the team headed back to our base seeing plenty more fireworks lighting up the skies on their journey home.
We’re looking forward to turkey topping the menu at many of our events during December. First on the list is the turkey and stuffing sandwiches we’ll be serving at a primary school’s Christmas Fayre this weekend. We’ll be topping up our supplies of cranberry sauce too so all our customers can enjoy a traditional, festive feast as the countdown to Christmas begins.
