At Hog Roast Chorley we’ve been on our feet all week, rushing around from event to event in another bustling week of excellent catered events. With just a brief moment to pause just now before the next bustling day of events we thought we might just update you on some of the excellent events we catered this week and the speciality services that our Hog Roast Chorley teams provided to them.
First up was a quick artisanal spread for a family event in town. The family were celebrating their youngest being accepted to their top choice university for their chosen subject, and so cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents were all invited out to their house to toast to their new academic! Hog Roast Chorley were invited out too. The idea for the event was a kind of afternoon tea with “fizz”, and so together with our host we came to the decision to cater our artisanal alfresco menu. This lighter option gives guests a delightful spread of finely cut Italian meats, fine cheeses like gorgonzola, buffalo mozzarella, and parmigiano all served with artisanal breads and a selection of fine vinegars and oils. This was a perfect pairing for the teas and champagnes.
Another event took us out to a networking showcase for members of the security industry to attend. Supporting the event was our Hog Roast Chorley team with easy to grab rolls with fillings of our freshly pulled pork, or burgers or sausages, chicken skewers, and side salads with coleslaw and roast potatoes too. While guests perused the event our team had a table set up for easy access so that guests could grab a bite anytime they needed. With hundreds in attendance our teams were working constantly to keep the flow of food going all throughout the 6 hours of the event.
Another event had us outdoors helping guests of a car show keep warm with filled rolls and hot drinks on us. A perfect winter warmer is a hog roast, and so as the showcase went on guests gathered by us for some quick warmth and a little bite to eat. We’re no motorists, but we know how to rev up an excellent hog roast at least!
