Last week hog roast Cliviger had a rather challenging event booked. We were asked to cater in the small villiage hall situated just next to Cliviger primary school. Our clients had previously booked with us in the past and loved our services we gave them so have asked us to return for a second year J Upon arrival we set up our equipment just outside the village hall, and for this event it wasn’t the usual hog roast but instead our clients had requested we cook a lamb, we slowly roast our lambs for approximately 4 hours over flames and drape with fresh rosemary to give the lamb an incredible flavour. With it being such a spectacular day, the host of the event decided to set up two football nets in the field across the road and have a football tournament.
Everybody had fun but unfortunately for the adults it was the kids that came out claiming the 1st place prize! After the games of football everybody headed back over to the village hall to sit down in the sun with drinks and have a chat whilst listening to the band (The Funky Monkeys) that have driven up from all the way from the south. With the lamb ready to serve, we lifted it up from the machine and placed it on top of the carving tray. With the kids winning the football tournament we all decided that they would be the first to come up and grab their piece, everybody loved the lamb and we had receive brilliant feedback from the guests on the day. Another sensational event for hog roast Cliviger and we would be more than delighted to return again for the third year.
