We were delighted to be asked to cater in the Ballroom at Accrington Town Hall recently for the wedding of Mr and Mrs Smith and here at Hog Roast Blackburn, we clearly understand that a couple’s wedding is one of the most important events of their lives and we always ensure that our service is professional, friendly and high quality and with precise attention to detail. We are aware that there are many good caterers for this type of event but what makes us great, is this meticulous attention to detail and the high quality of our food and service.
Hog Roast Blackburn has 6 menus available for wedding events ranging from an entry level option through to more formal options with evening buffet options too and we know that the choice of menu for this type of event is crucial to its 
success. For this very special occasion, the couple wanted for the day our Southern Slow Roast with chicken, beef, lamb and ribs for 130 guests served on real crockery and for the evening, our traditional hog in a roll with sausages, quiche and salads for 160 people on disposable plates. Preparation is the key to success for any event but especially for a wedding as there is so much going on and everyone wants to enjoy the day rather than worrying about things going wrong, hence we always ensure that meticulous planning and preparation occurs to ensure that all expectations are met and we were very clear on what time we needed to arrive and to set up to be able to cater for the guests in the early evening.
Once we arrived, we set up in the Ballroom and started the hog roasting; some guests were mingling in the vicinity and they immediately became interested in what we were doing and very excited for what was in store. We know that there are many good wedding caterers but what makes us great is the high quality of the food and the professional service that we consistently deliver and once we started serving, many guests were amazed at the selection and the quality of the delicious food with some great feedback – Hog Roast Blackburn were very proud to be part of this fabulous day.
