From carnivores to vegetarians, to those with a gluten intolerance or allergy or a different kind of diet, we have plenty on offer to satisfy all your guests, and varying personal tastes and bigger appetites are covered too. From waiter-served canapés to starters, desserts and sides, or an entire menu that we’ve helped you to create from scratch, we can help your special occasion go with a bang.

Hog Roast WorsthorneAt this chilly time of year, Hog Roast Worsthorne still offers our popular winter warmer menu, where you choose a main meat such as our famous hog roast or whole-roasted turkeys, add your choice of potatoes, like new potatoes with herbs or roasties, and your choice of seasonal vegetables too, but we have all kinds of year-round choices that may be better for your party or event instead, like our Southern Slow Roast, which gives you three meats and four sides. We could cook you a barbecue instead if preferred, with our chef’s gourmet sausages, burgers that are 100% beef and our tasty ribs, or a hog or spit roast to die for. Whatever you have in mind, we will make it happen.

Hog Roast Worsthorne catered Emma’s 45th birthday yesterday, where we made piles of our amazing pigs in buns for most of her thirty guests, but we also made sure that her vegetarian guests had their own dish too, and that everyone would be totally satisfied by providing some yummy sides as well. Emma asked us to cook our veggie skewers for the vegetarians and to cook sweet potato wedges and mac and cheese that would be suitable for all the guests.

Our chef and catering assistants prepared and cooked a hog for hours on end yesterday and then nearer to the time of service, we cooked the mac and cheese and wedges, grilled the halloumi and veg for the skewers, and by 5pm, we had a great feast ready to serve.
