The first week of March has already seen Hog Roast Garstang spring into action at many different and exciting events all around, serving up feasts with our staple style and spectacle for guests to enjoy. From star-studded dining to pop up business lunches, we thought it would be worth sharing a few highlights from Hog Roast Garstang’s week of catering to kick off March 2023:
At Hog Roast Garstang we love a surprise birthday party, and a surprise 50th was no exception to this! Everybody was dressed in their finest sparkling clothes as this is a favourite of the guest of honour and the birthday girl walked in to a room of her nearest and dearest looking like a sparkling spectacle! Obviously dressed in her most fabulous Sparkly floor length gown! She only thought she was going out to a fancy restaurant, to us she looked ready to walk a red carpet! We served up a local pulled pork with bread rolls and wraps, along with BBQ pulled jackfruit, sage and onion stuffing, fresh salads, and freshly made apple and chilli sauces.
Another event took us to them offices for one our local business partners. This partner wanted to surprise their staff with a pop up lunch catered by Hog Roast Garstang. For this we had a hog roast roasted early in the morning and quickly whisked on offer to the company office where we served fresh hog roast rolls straight from the pig. It was a short stop but it certainly gave the staff a welcome lunch treat to help them continue to fuel the rest of the working week.
Hog Roast Garstang also came out to one of our partnering wedding venues for their wedding fair at the weekend. Here we chatted to attendees, handed out free tasters and hog roast rolls and booked in future weddings and events with some of the hundreds of fair-goers. A different type of event for us where we weren’t technically catering, but still serving and chatting to many!
