Speciality Hog Roast Cliviger Southern Slow Roast Feast

While Hog Roast Cliviger may be famed for our amazing hog roasts, we can also provide many different options for your special occasion, including alternative mains, homemade canapés, starters, sides and desserts. We’ve spent years perfecting our menus to ensure that they are all-inclusive, as we want everyone invited to get to enjoy our tasty food, regardless of tastes, appetite or diet. All you need to do is let us know your needs when you book and your wish is our command!

Hog Roast ClivigerWith one of our Hog Roast Cliviger speciality menus, you can treat the guests at your next party or event to something a little bit different and we’re sure you’ll be the talk of the town for a long time to come. Our hugely popular Southern Slow Roast is a menu that gives your guests choice and variety, as you get to choose three marinated meats to be slow-cooked on the day, as well as no less than four hot or cold sides. Choose three from beef brisket, whole roast chickens, sticky pork ribs, spicy lamb and barbecued pork butt and four from coleslaw, jacket spuds, mac and cheese, corn cobettes, sweet potato wedges, Greek salad and seasonal green salad, and there’s even a vegetarian option of grilled halloumi and veg wraps if needed.

Alternatively, our fantastic Loaded Fries menu, which we introduced in 2020, gives you and your guests fresh-cooked chips smothered in brisket or pulled pork, a spicy slaw or a zesty slaw and plenty of melted cheese. With either of these two menus, we’re sure your special occasion will be a great success, but then it would if you chose a hog or spit roast instead!

For a private party that Hog Roast Cliviger catered yesterday afternoon, we were asked to make a Southern Slow Roast to feed forty guests, with ribs, lamb and pork served alongside mac and cheese, wedges, coleslaw and corn cobettes, as well as veggie skewers for several vegetarians. After spending hours preparing the fresh, quality ingredients, we made a great feast and once all the guests had arrived, it was time for them to dig in.
