January has been just as busy as any other month here at Hog roast Garstang! January had its problems with the weather but it did not put people off booking an event with us. New Year’s day certainly went with a bang, we hosted a large new year party at a firework display for a large company who had just launched into business and it really drew in the crowds, we weren’t actually given a number to cater for we were asked for about roughly three hundred so we came well prepared, Hog roast hire Garstang braved the bitter cold and it was a lovely day a fantastic start to the New Year! 
The same week we were out and about across Garstang we hosted two events that week one for an opening of an old folks home and this was a huge success the old folk were wonderful and full of chatter, most had tasted hog roasting before and a lot had even hog roasted in their youth so they knew what they were talking about! One old chap gave us some great tips on perfecting the pork and we were keen to put this in to practice on our next event which was a 21st Birthday party it was an evening event and was held in a church hall, Hog roast Garstang were really busy that night and we didn’t seem to stop lots and lots of hungry mouths to feed and as quick as we were plating up the food was gone! But to be honest that is what we love to see nice empty plates. Hog roast hire Garstang did a lovely 1st birthday party just a few weeks ago the little boy was adorable but to young to fully appreciate what we are doing he was quite taken with the pig and couldn’t keep his eyes off the pig! We catered for fifty and it was a really nice day and the sun was actually shinning which made a nice change considering the week previous the ground was full of snow. At the end of January we were east of the country for a huge football tournament at the Village cup football event and there were lots of teams playing from the surrounding counties it was a very busy day we were asked to cater for two hundred but it turned out more like three as we had lots of hungry mouths to feed as they were coming back for more and more! The end of January was just as busy as the beginning with a corporate event for a very important client there was a lot riding on this event as the host was meeting important clients for orders for his business and we had to keep everyone sweet and make sure the day went well and it did and we also came away with work too in the form of a Wedding and Birthday for the middle of the year yes we have had a good start to the year…
